Front Gate Leads will direct and oversee the activities of assigned team members. They also train, develop, motivate and coach assigned team members. Essential functions include acting as the guest advocate in all interactions. Front Gate Leads perform all duties of Front Gate Team Members. This position assists the Front Gate and Retail Manager in ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient operation of their area in both guest view and back areas while providing excellent Guest Service. Work locations include, but are not limited to, Front Gate and Retail Stock Room. Communication of property information, admission costs and guidelines, safety rules and crowd control are included in the daily job functions. Leads will re-stock and straighten retail floor and retail space in Sopris Cafe, with assistance from front line staff, when not busy. With direction from department manager, leads will re-merchandise retail floor and any additional retail space. Front Gate Leads work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and often perform physically demanding tasks. This will include successful communication with Guests and Team Members in both positive and stressful situations. Professionalism and a positive attitude must be displayed at all times.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Performs all duties of Front Gate Team Members
• Leads, coaches, trains, and develops line level employees
• Ensures guests issues are handled appropriately and responds to guest issues as requested
• Performs all administrative duties as assigned
• Must be willing to work outside of his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general property needs as needed
• Clear understanding and knowledge of Iron Mountain Hot Springs pricing, policies, property amenities, Sopris Café and retail product offerings
• Understand any marketing promotions or advertising related to Iron Mountain Hot Springs.
• Ensure compliance with all Iron Mountain Hot Springs policies and procedures
• Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
• Satisfies Iron Mountain Hot Springs’ standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Able to interpret both written & verbal instructions.
• Available to work evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation

Compensation:

· This position pays $20.00/hour to $22.00/hour including supplemental tip average.

· Starting wage is $17.00/hour to $18.00/hour

· Tip sharing across property averages to $3.00/hour to $4.00/hour
