At Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill, we serve Amazing, fresh food and Amazing experiences to our guests every day! This is the foundation to providing a great guest experience and the driving force behind all job expectations and responsibilities.

Team Members are expected to:

• Make Guest Service their first priority and consistently provide great customer service to every guest.

• Accurately perform duties during rush periods and maintain a clean and stocked work area.

• Consistently produce quality work and complete tasks in a timely manner.

• Work well with co-workers at all times and accept new duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude.

• Be consistently reliable and arrive at your scheduled start time prepared to work.

• Maintain proper uniform and grooming standards.

• Uphold Costa Vida's food and safety standards.

Lead Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a "HOWDY!" and a smile as they walk through our doors; Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials and basic store information; i.e. store location, phone number & business hours.

• Initiate guest orders by asking what you can make for them; Offer samples and suggestions based on our unique flavor profiles.

• Maintain knowledge of menu builds and accurately prepare orders for guests.

• Ensure quality of food by keeping items fresh and cleaning the line regularly.

• Use verbal and nonverbal communication skills to accurately communicate guest orders with the rest of your team; Effectively communicate dietary restrictions and special requests.

• Work quickly and efficiently during rush hours to keep the line moving and our guests satisfied.

• Clean and stock your work space before, during and after each shift; Ensure that the next shift has everything they will need to get through the shift successfully.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Ensure that all menu items are temped correctly and backups are in date; Discard waste following Costa Vida procedures and standards.
• Must have a valid food handler's permit, or be able to obtain a permit within 2 weeks of starting.

Preferred Requirements:

• TABC Certification
• Drive thru Experience

• Flexibility and a willingness to learn new tasks.
• Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week.

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in business.

• Fun, energetic, and positive personality.

• Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
