Work Schedule:

• Fulltime - 9:00am - 5:00pm

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, etc…) and 2 years of experience in Mental Health, specifically with the Co-Occurring population. However we will consider any combination of education and experience that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position.

Job Duties: Allied Therapist will implement therapeutic groups and activities, encourage ADLs, and provide psycho-educational groups. This includes but is not limited to;

• Assisting in planning/implementing daily groups/activities
• Attending and contributing to treatment team planning meetings
• Assessing stages of change in patients and documenting on daily group notes
• Completing assigned assessments on new admissions
• Restocking activity supplies and therapeutic materials as needed
• Providing a culture of safety and showing concern to patients
• Following all procedures when taking patients to/from gym/courtyard
• Working independently and professionally with others
• Remaining detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
