FT - PTA, Physical Therapist Assistant, In-house Rehab team, Central TX! Job at Hillside Medical Lodge
We're seeking a Full-time PTA to join our In-house Rehab team in Gatesville TX!
Must be currently licensed in TX with experience in Geriatrics and Long-term care clients. We are a 128-bed community in Central TX, that places our focus on administering treatment to improve function and promote healing.
PRN also available!
Responsibilities:
- Administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
- Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
- Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
- Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.
- Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.

Skills:
- Must have a valid PT Assistant Therapy license in good standing.
- Long term care experience preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
- Current knowledge of treatment practices.
