Job Posting: Fulfillment Associate and Driver

Full Time (35 – 40 hours), Hourly

$18 hr

Marathon Sports is looking for a capable team member to help with the operations of our Waltham warehouse as a Fulfillment Associate and Driver. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to play a key role in the processing, allocation, distribution and planning of product. This individual will work directly with the DC Manager, Assistant DC Manger, store managers, buyers and vendors and learn firsthand how our business operates from behind the scene. Most importantly, their efforts will have a direct impact on the company’s success.

Responsibilities Include:

• Work closely with the DC Manager to help facilitate the flow of footwear, product, etc. for brick and mortar, E-commerce and Amazon.
• Establish and maintain strong and effective relationships with management staff, online sales and all employees.
• Help maintain our systems, processes and physical space in the warehouse in order to operate as efficiently as possible.
• Drive and make deliveries with company box trucks.
• Learn and implement Marathon Sports’ warehouse management software including in all in houseprograms and act as a liaison between brick and mortar and HQ, providing training or help at the storelevel if need be.
• Receive, check-in and process incoming product and update physical inventory as needed.
• Assist with ship outs, return authorizations and defective returns.
• Occasionally lead and manage operations of the warehouse if need be.
• Provide support to the DC Manager as needed.
• Load and unload freight with forklift.
• Report to and provide support to the DC Manager as needed.Qualifications and Skills Required
• Must be a self-starter, and ambitious for improvements
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Experience with RICS is preferred
• Forklift Experience a plus
• Must have an active driver’s license and clean driving record.Other Requirements
• Ability to travel as required
• Flexibility in daily schedule
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds in a physically demanding indoor/outdoor environment.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical

Job Type: Full-time
