Position: Full-Charge Bookkeeper - Direct Hire
Pay-rate: $28-$35/HR
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 7AM-5PM
Setting: Office
Are you passionate about numbers and have experience in construction accounting?
We're looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper with 1-2 years of experience to join our client's team.
This is a direct-hire position that offers a competitive salary range of $28-$35 per hour, based on experience. You'll work on multiple projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple construction projects
- Perform job costing for construction projects
- Reconcile bank accounts for multiple construction projects
- Process payroll and communicate with ADP
- Maintain vendor and tenant files
- Prepare recurring charges and deposits
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Correspond and collaborate with CPA
- Input budgets and prepare draws for job cost accounting
- Ensure strict confidentiality in all processes
- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with other accounting professionals
- Audit and run reports for accounts payable, accounts receivable, property management, job cost, and month-end/year-end processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping with a focus on construction accounting
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Yardi, preffered but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
