• Truly passionate about the latest and greatest technologies and best practices.
• Total command on WordPress 5+, WordPress API, Hooks, and core WP plugins (AFC, WPML, YOAST, etc.)
• Capability of developing a stand-alone WordPress Themes and Plugins by yourself.
• Fluency in PHP7/MySQL as well as OOP.
• Good skills in slicing a psd design file with Photoshop into responsive HTML, additionally hands-on experience on more vertical tools like Invision.
• Good knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Responsive web design (possibly with Bootstrap), SASS, Vanilla JavaScript, jQuery and the next Big Frontend Thing.
• Good grasp on the subject of desktop and mobile frontend optimization, including but not limited to the parameters evaluated in Google’s Page Speed Insights / Lighthouse, GTMetrix and other similar tools, which are paramount to us.
• Good Knowledge of SEO-friendly HTML.
• Very good understanding of the inner workings of modern desktop and mobile browsers,

You will be responsible for:

• Work with managers to ideate software solutions
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Write technical documentation

The job will be full-time in-office at our Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico headquarters.
