The Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. This project offers the ability to work in an office/remote hybrid format with a team of highly-skilled engineers.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement new capabilities
- Resolve issues found in existing code
- Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field
- Ability to communicate technical details of work
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
Required Experience
- 4 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 2 years experience with a Master’s
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Experience with DevSecOps
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins (preferred) or Gitlab CI
- Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with HELM
- Experience with Docker (containerized deployment)
- Experience with version control software (ex Git)
- Experience with web front end development using React or Angular
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with server-side languages, such as NodeJS, Python
- Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
Desired Experience
- Active security clearance
