About the Role
Poolin's Bitcoin mining facilities are some of the most advanced crypto mining facilities in the world. We currently operate two 300 megawatt sites in West Texas and have plans to build several other large sites throughout the US. Our on-site teams play a critical role in the success of Poolin's business by ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly.
As a Gate Guard at Poolin, you will be part of our data center facilities team. Day-to-day responsibilities include various duties such as patrolling the premises, monitoring for safety issues and theft, observing disturbances and reporting.
**This position is in Pecos | Pyote, Texas. You will be required to daily commute, or relocate to the area.
Responsibilities:
- Opens gate to allow entrance or exit of employees and authorized visitors
- Checks credentials for all visitors
- Inspects outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or product.
- Perform guard duties throughout the facility
- Documents all visitors entering & exiting facility
- Monitors areas for unauthorized personnel
- Receives deliveries
Qualifications:
- 6 months - 1 year experience in a guard or security role
- Authorization to work in Texas
- Communications skills: ability to speak and write in English
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays
- Must be able to commute to Pecos / Pyote, TX
