Warehouse services include USDA Import/Export services, fumigation, and flexible shipping and receiving hours.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for an immediate opportunity.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Operates forklift in a safe manner to stack and retrieve supplies and materials while maintaining inventory and ensuring production area organization and cleanliness. This position is employed by Seaonus Stevedoring, which is owned by Enstructure LLC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lift, stack, un-stack, and move materials using electric-powered trucks equipped with fork attachments.
• Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of a warehouse so they may be located easily.
• Unload trucks and place products in the warehouse and, or freezer area for storage.
• Load trucks ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed.
• Completes and submits Equipment Check List Form before utilizing any company equipment.
• Completes and submits written documentation as required.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping in the work area
• Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work overtime during the week or on weekends.

• Forklift certification. Basic knowledge areas include Safety Procedures; Truck Inspections; Storage and Exchange Points; Counterbalance Effect; Stability Triangle; Center of Gravity; Equipment Terminology; Attachments/Load centers; Battery Inspection; and Material handling including loading and de-stacking, unloading, and stacking of counterbalance, traveling Ramps, Trailers and parking.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and 3-year driving history that is acceptable to our auto insurance carrier.
• High School or Equivalent, Certification/Diploma

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; squat, bend at the waist and reach with hands and arms. Required to lift up to 60 lbs. on an intermittent basis. The employee is frequently required to sit with alternate standing. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a refrigerated warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 30 to below zero. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.'

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
