Dos Santos Castle Rock is now hiring a professional, efficient, high-energy Assistant General Manager with top-notch standards and a passion for maintaining our culture. This position requires flexibility, a solution oriented mindset, and a drive for building high-performance teams.

Dos Santos is fast paced and truly requires grace under pressure as well as the ability to multitask all while overseeing the financial and operational performance of the restaurant.

Objective

To oversee the operation of Dos Santos Castle Rock and perform all essential job functions and duties in compliance with company policies, while reporting to Regional Manager.

Expectations

● Weekly minimum of 50-60 hours per week; closing as manager 3 nights a week as well as 2 nights until end of business hours with Lead/Bar Manager completing check out. Understanding that a Management Member must be present at all times during business hours of 11 AM - 10 PM.

● Attend weekly or bi-weekly manager meetings

  • Work in tandem with the management team/RGM to provide training and correction as needed, communicating any problems or correction

● Complete payroll by 5pm every Wednesday

  • Work in tandem with AGM with timesheets or any info needed to complete payroll on Wednesdays

● Help ensure all guests receive a positive dining experience and round on tables throughout shift

● Help resolve scheduling issues with Assistant General Manager

● Ensure all new hire paperwork is put in by Wednesday of each week for all employees (FOH + BOH)

  • Keeping in close contact with KM/AKM to help resolve any issues that arise
  • Oversee bar ordering w/ Bar Manager, keep accurate inventory, work with KM and AKM to ensure all kitchen bar supplies get ordered

● Delegate cleanings accordingly and in a timely manner

● Ensure that the entire restaurant (Bar, Dining Room, Host, Kitchen) operates in an efficient way that meets Regional General Manager + Owner standards

● Resourcefully resolve any problematic issues that arise

  • Resolve conflict in an effective and professional manner

● Help and oversee the training of all staff; executing full training shifts with employees and checking in to be sure that new employees feel comfortable before solo scheduled shifts

● Establish a working schedule with Bar Manager + AGM so that a Management Member is always at the restaurant

● Help Comply and enforce all sanitary regulations and safety standards

● Resolve customer complaints or issues

● Keep a constant eye out and cut aggressively to ensure Labor Goals are met

● Be ready to step into any role at any time

● Maintain a positive, fun yet very professional approach with employees and always be willing to help

● Working knowledge of several software systems; Google Docs, Zoom, Excel, Breadcrumb/Upserve, Orderly

● Take ownership over our Dos Santos and show great leadership to the entire team

● Ensure that ALL staff, including management, follow the Dos Standards, Policies, and Strategies.

Experience

  • Management experience of 1+ years
  • Restaurant industry experience of 3+ years
  • Instill strong, passionate leadership qualities
  • The confidence in directing large teams
  • Must have a problem solving attitude and the willingness to hold composure in challenging situations
  • A strong focus on attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Drive, Gmail, Payroll Processing, with the ability to use other relevant computer applications efficiently
  • In-depth working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Experience in staff management and development
  • Knowledge of labor planning and forecasting
