General Production Worker - Coater (First Shift) Job at ClosetMaid LLC
Operates mechanical, electrical, hydraulic equipment (automatic, semiautomatic, and manual) to fabricate, finish, or package products. Performs work at different workstations and various departments as production needs require.
1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:30pm (Monday - Friday) *plus overtime if scheduled

WHO YOU ARE
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Perform all required tasks in the Coater department
- Load raw product/materials onto a moving conveyor system and unload finished product from a moving conveyor system
- Stack shelving onto pallets
- Operate carton making equipment
- Follows the available Job Instruction Breakdowns (JIBs) and all on the job training for all tasks
- Handles materials to and from the production line using an electric pallet jack
- Counts, identifies, and weighs materials as required
- Maintains good housekeeping of their assigned area
- Maintains specific quality standards by performing all checks as required by the quality sampling procedures
- Attains acceptable production rates and pursue continuous improvement
- Reads, understands, and responds to instruction
- Must be able to understand & complete basic math equations
- Expected to become skilled at identifying product names, codes, labels, ID numbers and associated components
- Must display safe work practices and habits
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move product with assistance when team lift is required.
