General & Skilled Maintenance Staff Job at Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground
Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping is looking for full-time, 40 hour per week, year round, General & Skilled Maintenance Staff for our 200 acre campground, motel, 18-hole golf course, and small cabin rental locations. Experience in all skill sets is not required. Individuals new to the field with limited skills are welcome to apply.
Work includes plumbing, insulating, welding, machining, electrical, carpentry, carpets, roofs, windows, drywall, sanding, painting, staining. Repairing of roads, buildings, floors, stairs, landscaping, masonry, locks, vehicle and equipment repair, ordering of parts and supplies, mowing and tree trimming.
Use of tools ranging from common hand and power tools, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic devices.
Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work. Accountable for materials used during workday. Requires a neat appearance and uniform during camping season. Must keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Work may include lifting, shoveling, being able to be on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to drive motorized vehicle on grounds (cars/golf carts/trucks).
- May drive and operate equipment such as a tractor, mower or backhoe.
- This position may require the use of respiratory protection, safety goggles or ear protection.
- Must possess physical stamina to withstand labor related work in outside environment.
