SUMMARY & OBJECTIVE
As a member of the GPS Hardware team, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting of a wide range of our unique and highly customizable hardware and software solutions. This ranges from on-board GPS units to mobile tablets and phone applications. This is an entry level position and training will be provided.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist with the creation, installation, and maintenance of Edulog GPS software, including SQLite database and API configuration.
- Investigate and resolve tickets from clients about their hardware and software issues.
- Work alongside the Project Management Office and Implementation Team to create customized hardware packages and implementation projects for school districts.
- Design support processes for hardware troubleshooting; create documentation to distribute internally and externally.
- Update/maintain data within the Edulog software, including hardware identifiers and counts.
- Work alongside our development teams to improve our existing software, and identify needed tools and enhancements for future products.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- This is an entry-level position, a high-school diploma is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and VPN access preferred.
- Experience with mobile troubleshooting preferred.
- Experience with SQL scripting and databases preferred.
- Previous technical/software implementation experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively through both speech and written text.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain a pleasant manner in stressful situations.
Job Type: Full-time
