Job Summary:
From concept through execution, the graphic designer will improve our user experience by bringing our brand to life and keeping it consistent across all our channels.
This position will help create marketing assets for print, out-of-home, and digital channels for all divisions of Bell Bank. They will collaborate with other designers, writers, and digital strategists on a daily basis, to help our stakeholders achieve their business goals with strategic marketing solutions.
This position may have access to the private information of customers, the business, and/or employees; for this reason, graphic design specialists must adhere to company privacy rules and any applicable laws.
Primary Duties:
- Collaborate with marketing and product marketing teammates to support our website design and content marketing (web, social media assets, and more).
- Help bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using your expertise and eye for great design.
- Brainstorm with other marketing team members to concept creative marketing solutions.
- Color correct and retouch photography for marketing pieces.
- Scope and create templates for our marketing team to be more efficient in some of their posting on social media, web, email, print, and other channels.
- Manage other design needs such as campaign creative, presentations, signage, and tradeshow collateral as needed.
- Work with vendors to ensure quality materials are being produced.
- Assist with activities that fall within the responsibilities of the marketing team.
- Assist in overall marketing efforts to ensure consistency in message and image
- Assist with projects, activities and special events in all areas as needed.
- Contribute to a positive environment by working to meet individual and team goals within marketing department.
- Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.
- Know and practice LOCBUTN, our Golden Rules, and Bell Bank Customer Service Standards.
- Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.
- Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- All employees are responsible for information security, including compliance with policies and standards which protect sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Required:
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
- 2-7 years of experience as either an in-house designer or at a marketing agency. We require work samples to apply for this position.
- Experience designing for multiple platforms. This position must create assets for our web team that are mobile-, tablet-, and desktop-friendly and provide a user experience that fits on all three screens.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to complete and prioritize projects with minimal supervision.
