About Us:

ML Presents/Fun Music Presents is a band management and concert production agency based out of DUMBO, Brooklyn. In our office we are responsible for producing 2 shows in Manhattan, our 90’s show with The Fresh Kids of Bel-Air and Back To The Eighties Show with Jessie's Girl. We also manage and book our roster of bands at some of the largest and most prestigious venues on the east coast including The Capitol Theatre, The Paramount, and The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

About You:

Reporting to a small team, this individual will create and develop designs for a wide variety of projects, including signage, posters, promotional materials, logos, and other materials. The Graphic Designer will create and establish consistent and appropriate designs/branding for these projects and reflect editorial content through the graphic presentation as needed. A primary responsibility will be managing content and updating several websites and social media accounts.

Daily Tasks: (These tasks are dependent upon what is needed and will differ from day to day.)

• Update our main website's information so that it is correct, links are functioning, and so only upcoming shows appear
• Create graphics and posters collaboratively: sometimes on the fly, sometimes with notice
• Have a team-like attitude!
• Run successful social media ads promoting live music
• For ticketed events, ensure the venue website has the correct information, tickets can be purchased, and for the correct amounts.

GRAPHICS NEEDED TO APPLY:

• Include resume, portfolio and please create two pieces of artwork for us. We WILL NOT use this artwork for the public to see- this is strictly just to see your style.
• We would like for you to make two concert flyers: one for our 90s band, The Fresh Kids of Bel-Air, and one for our 80s band, Jessie's Girl.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2-3 years relevant design experience
• Solid working knowledge of the Mac environment; demonstrated knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop

Proficient in web design, specifically with Wix

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Dropbox
• Ability to work within a team environment and independently
• Ability to multi-task and meet set deadlines; Take projects from design to completion.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
