General Statement:
The Graphic Designer I in this position provides creative design solutions by conceptualizing and producing unified marketing and communication materials while maintaining the integrity of the ACNC’s brand and adhering to graphic standards. The Designer in this position will also provide support in all phases of the production process.
Essential Duties:
Provides quality guest service to both internal and external guests by maintaining a WILD (friendly, helpful, positive and professional) working attitude and appearance.
Conceptualizes and produces unified marketing and communications materials including, but not limited to: advertisements, brochures, newsletters, flyers, forms, logos, posters, magazines and signage.
Monitors and tracks production projects to ensure proper and timely completion; works with outside vendors to meet production deadlines.
Provides creative design solutions that reinforce the ACNC’s brand, look and feel.
Develops and maintains organized computer folders and files for images and documents.
Facilitates production responsibilities as needed (i.e., vinyl cutting, signage production and installation, printing flyers and programs, large-format cutting, etc.).
Takes direction and provides alternative creative solutions as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design along with 1-2 years of experience in the graphic design field preferred.
- Strong design and graphic production skills.
- Computer proficiency in Adobe CS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work on various projects simultaneously and efficiently.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to pay attention to detail, prioritize, multi-task and work within specific timeframes.
- Ability to utilize design equipment (X-Acto knife, box cutter, drill, ladders, etc.) and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Possession of valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and DMV check, and drug test.
