Responsibilities:
As a Ground Systems Developmen t Specialist, you will provide space ground system acquisition subject matter expertise and day-to-day program execution, including oversight of existing ground systems acquisitions and initiating new contractual actions.

Specific job duties include:
  • Provide expertise in the execution of existing ground system software programs and the development of new acquisition contracts.
  • Provide support to various program actions/activities, including meeting attendance, contract performance tracking, milestone planning, briefing presentation, staff coordination, acquisition risk management and decision document preparation.
  • Oversee and advise government program management on software integration across full spectrum of interfaces, to include coordination with multiple mission partners.
  • Oversee program and capability documentation is sufficiently defined to operationally needed levels, oversee configuration and integration working groups, and coordinate with management to ensure interface definitions support delivery milestones.
  • Provide support in the development of pre and post contract award documentation activities including request for development of request for proposals, Statement of Objectives, performance work statements and Statement of Work.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Physics or Engineering (MA/MS/ME).
  • Requires a minimum of 10 -12 years' of relevant DoD work experience with a BS, 8-10 years' with a MS and 5-7 years with a PhD with no less than four (4) years’ experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment within the last five (5) years.
  • Active and current TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with ACAT I/II level acquisition space programs.
  • Knowledge of and experience in analyzing, drafting, and reviewing space acquisition documents and experience with programs requiring enhanced security measures.
  • Two (2) years HAF and/or MAJCOM staff experience – Highly Desired.
  • DAWIA PM Level Ill certification– Highly Desired.
Equal Pay Act: Min: $108,551.89Max: $260,848.58
