Class Instructors will lead and coordinate individual or group adult fitness/physical training classes for a specified health and fitness program. Class Instructors should be enthusiastic and create a fun and welcoming environment for all members. They should be comfortable working with a wide variety of members and be able to effectively multi-task in order to coordinate a group session and have a high attention to detail. Class Instructor duties include, but are not limited to:
- Create club culture by providing a fun and inclusive environment for all of our members!
- Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement
- Assist in providing social media content.
- Be a part of community involvement to encourage health and wellness even beyond our walls
- Teach scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time; providing adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down.
- Instruct members on the current workout, explains proper techniques, demonstrates exercises, and provides modifications as needed.
- Is prepared prior to class with appropriate equipment and music
- Keeps class attendance and ensures only members with access to specific classes are participating
- Encourages new members to join classes
- Assists members, answers questions, and maintains a positive exercise experience for members and class participants.
- Keep management informed of customer and facility needs.
- Ensure that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to.
- Ensure that all required certifications are up to date
- Be on time and prepared for all job duties based on scheduled work hours
- Perform related duties as required.
Reports to: Club Manager
- Must be a certified group instructor
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
