Guest Engagement Specialist
Our goal at SeaQuest is to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience interacting with animals from all over the world! SeaQuest is looking for extra friendly, enthusiastic, multi-talented people to bring some adventure and FUN to our interactive zoo and aquarium. Engaging & Interacting with guests and team members to create a FUN adventure every day, ALL day.
How we want you to create a FUN and EXCITING environment:
- Create FUN and EXCITING interactions with our guests and animals and encourage team members to do the same!
- Walking around the aquarium with our unique animal ambassadors assisting guests with photos and interactions
- Involving guests in our “behind the scenes” experiences: Animal training, enrichment, feedings, and outreaches
- Entertaining guests as they wait to check-in
- Ensuring guests leave wanting to come back on another “Quest”
Requirements:
- Knows how to have FUN, FUN, FUN!
- Has an infectious personality
- Creating a “WOW” experience for guests
- Enthusiasm and passion for the SeaQuest product, characters, and storytelling
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to connect with kids & adults
- Must feel conformable taking photos and videos with guests
- Demonstrates a strong, ongoing passion for exceeding Guest satisfaction
- Ability to meet and exceed sales goals
- Ability to identify guest's needs to create a one-of-a-kind experience
- Be able to motivate peers
- Sales skills which would include upselling company products
- Promote experiences and opportunities to guests
- Loves animals and loves to interact with children and adults
- Comfortable working with but not limited to: snakes, large and small birds, large and small reptiles, mammals exotic and domesticated
Schedule:
- Full-time ( Average 40hrs a week)
- Weekends
- Holidays

Compensation:
- $20-$30 per hour depending on experience and engagement
