Guest Experience Guides are an essential position in our client's venue - an immersicve experience for people of all ages! As the first point of contact, you'll be responsible for introducing all guests to a world of fun while ensuring their safety.

This opportunity is a perfect fit for candidates with experience in any customer facing roles such as retail sales, museum visitor services, artistic performers looking for additional work, etc. This is a visitor engaging role that requires interaction with guests from all over the world, so an energetic, upbeat and enthusiastic personality is a must!

Pay: $19/hour

Schedule: 25-35 hours per week, including weekends

Responsibilities:

• Guiding visitors through the experience
• Describe points of interest along the experience, must be comfortable "performing/resighting" scripted information to guests
• Monitor visitors’ activities in order to ensure compliance with establishment and safety practices
• Give information about the history, purpose and architecture of a site
• Answer questions as required

• At least 6 month in a similar setting
• Customer service skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Patience and the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Be flexible and open to change
• Sensitivity and understanding
• An interest and knowledge of history
• A good memory
• Must be comfortable speaking publicly
• Must be available to work on the weekends and holidays
