Weapon Works LLC is one of the top Cerakote applicators in the country and a satellite training facility for Cerakote and their parent company NIC industries. We are looking to add a Gunsmith to our coating team. The chosen candidate for this posting will also be trained as a Certified Cerakote instructor through NIC industries. The right candidate can be provided with a relocation package. As a gunsmith on our coating team, your duties would include:

-Applying Cerakote to a variety of parts for both single color and custom applications.

-Working on a wide variety of firearm makes and models doing repairs, cleanings, upgrades, and various other tasks.

-Disassembly and Reassembly of customer parts both before and after Cerakote.

-Diagnosing and repairing problems with various firearms that are dropped off.

-Other necessary tasks around the shop.

The right candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

• The ability to work on a wide variety of firearm makes and models.
• commited to growing and improving your gunsmith skills.
• Attendance in an accredited gunsmith program is a plus, but not required for consideration with the correct experience.
• Experience working with Cerakote in a professional environment is a plus but not required for consideration.
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willing and able to develop teaching skills through training and repetition.
• The ability to own a firearm, Concealed Carry is a plus
• Have a positive attitude
• Adapt to change quickly
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Stand for long periods of time
• Able to kneel, squat and bend down
• Able to lift more than 50 pounds
• Work in non-temperature regulated and loud environment
• Tolerate working with chemicals (acetone, brake kleen, coating, catalyst etc.)
• Work within the Cerakote department doing other tasks as assigned
