Job Overview

There’s no special training needed. We invest in you from the start. We have the only in-house training center in this area. We pay for your background check and CarePro training. We teach you the law, the skills, the safety, and everything you need to be successful on the job.

Every visit is different because human beings are different every day! You’ll bring your heart, your helping attitude, and the people skills you’ve acquired in life as well as the special training we provide you.

We are looking to fill multiple, full-time, overnight CarePro positions.

Your duties may include:

• Leaving shift comments for family and staff to review
• Providing companionship and supportive listening
• Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
• Feeding clients
• Maintaining patient’s health equipment
• Responding to emergency situations
• Transporting clients to appointments
• Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities

Our CarePros and clients enjoy fun, organized outings and opportunities. During spring training, we provide tickets so our CarePros can take clients out to the baseball game. We also do this with live theater.

We have open houses at our Home Instead office where everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. Our craft room/resource room is open to all CarePros, providing a wealth of information such as books on Alzheimer’s along with large-piece puzzles, arts-and-crafts kits, and more.
