Responsibilities Include:
Supervises teller staff and perform teller activities. This includes managing the cash flow of the branch by monitoring and maintaining the appropriate cash levels within the branch. Assist with managing the flow of traffic and may function in the LMS role if necessary. Work closely with the LMS II to support and collaborate as needed.
Collaborate with the supervisory team to create, implement and manage sales and service models and tracking. This will lead to the development of staff with skills make referrals for services or to business partners as necessary to deepen member relationships and find resolutions for member issues.
Work with the supervisory team to engage with the team to create a positive work environment where both the employee and member experiences are the main focus.
Assist the Assistant Branch Manager/Branch Manager with the following: Onboarding, coaching, training and development of teller staff; create and administer development plans, disciplinary actions and performance appraisals; communicate with staff to align with corporate strategies and goals.
Collaborate with supervisory team that checks and balances are in place to ensure effective utilization of all systems and applications to process the daily functions while maintaining efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with established policies and procedures. This includes assisting with managing branch controls and reconciliations to meet audit guidelines along with managing branch reports and performing Vault Settlements accurately.
Comply with all aspects of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulatory requirements as it relates to this position.
Has full managerial responsibility: has direct reports, assigns work to staff, provides coaching and training, sets goals, is accountable for performance evaluation, plans staff development, and makes and approves people management decisions either alone or in collaboration with management and Human Resources (including recruitment, promotions, terminations, and compensation).
Experience
Preferred- Must obtain Notary License within 6 months, Lending Certification and New Account Certification within 6 to 12 months, and must register with the National Mortgage Licensing System.
