MADDEN MATERIALS is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team! If you love Big Iron, have a minimum of 2 years experience operating in an open mine setting, and want to work for a great company, Apply Today!

Essential Functions

• Operates heavy construction equipment; excavators, front end loaders, and other equipment as necessary.
• Perform pre and post shift inspections. Document any damage to equipment.
• Recognize hazardous conditions and report to supervisor
• While operating equipment communicate with others using verbal and non-verbal hand signals
• Perform other labor related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Follow MSHA safety procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years experience in a mine setting preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment under varying working conditions.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations.
• Mechanical background a plus
• Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Stable work history.
• Able to complete job tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision.
• Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
