Helpdesk Technician Job at KMC Stampings
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Help Desk Technician ensures that all company owned user devices operate effectively at all KMC facilities. This position will utilize the KMC Helpdesk to provide employees with support and troubleshooting of issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Responsible for supporting KMC’s Helpdesk function by completing assigned tickets, as well as documenting solutions related to company owned hardware (telephones, computers, etc)
- Perform hardware and software deployments - configures and maintains computer workstations and related equipment to documented standards
- Stay informed of the latest developments in IT, identifying opportunities to improve our company systems, simplify our infrastructure and improve end user experience
- Responsible for strict adherence to all company/departmental policies, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment and housekeeping standards
- Assist with IT and Business Systems department projects as required
- Other duties as assigned or required
