We're looking for a Sr. Footwear Designer to join the fastest growing brand in the footwear industry! Reporting to the Director, Footwear Design as the Sr. Footwear Designer you will have the opportunity to build a global collection based on comfort, style, and an easy everyday feel. In this specialized role, you will own and support key Fastlane Initiatives, Key Account/Partner creations and contribute to some of the most exciting collaborations in the industry. We are looking for individuals that have a passion for the consumer, the HEYDUDE brand and innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Apply Material, Color & Pattern to Designs throughout the Seasonal Design Process
• Work closely with Product Management and Product Development to ensure footwear designs will meet targeted briefs for cost and consumer demand and will implement in a bulk production setting
• Support & deliver designs through brand-right concept inspiration, form, detail, materials, color/print application, technical drawings, and cost; ensuring results are met in a timely manner
• Cross-functional partnership and collaboration with design, product line management, development, and merchandising
• Collaborate with the entire product team on trend & consumer research, marketplace travel & design inspiration
• Broad marketplace understanding across all channels, including both fashion and sport lifestyle influences

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field
• Minimum 5-8+ years' experience of designing footwear products
• Expert with tools of footwear design – sketching, 2D & 3D form. 3D design program knowledge is a plus
• Strong technical background and proficient in Adobe CC: Photoshop, & Illustrator
• Possess a working knowledge of footwear construction, lasts, patterns and materials; willingness to learn the specifics of HEYDUDE product creation
• Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teammate while maintaining an ability to be self-directed and work independently
• Some travel to both domestic and international markets is required
