High End Craft Beer Sales Rep - Southern Minnesota Job at Pequod Distribution

Pequod Distribution is a Minnesota premium craft beer distributor. We are looking for a Full Time Sales Representative in the southern Minnesota market (Rochester, Mankato, New Ulm, Red Wing, Albert Lea, Owatonna, etc.)
Professional Skills
This position will be responsible opening up new sales accounts/territories, selling all brands in our portfolio, setting up events, building relationships and being a complete team player.

We will train and guide in every process and help you become a well-rounded team member. You will be accountable for every aspect your work. You will be responsible to ensure all your tasks are conducive to a safe working environment.
You will be part of Pequod’s team, both internally and externally, so you must always represent the company in a positive manner. You will be expected to participate in events and festivals, among many other activities.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- HS education/diploma
- 1-2 years of prior selling experience
- Prior distributor experience recommended
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Beer experience is a plus
- Merchandise, stock, rotate products and build displays in customer account
Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift 55lbs and move 165lbs, as needed
- Must be able to lift, move, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis and up to 160 pounds on an occasional basis
· Ability to sit for long periods of time while driving
· Ability to twist, turn, crouch, stoop, and squat repeatedly throughout the workday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
