High voltage and Charging System Engineer

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and passionate High voltage and Charging System Engineer to join our growing e-Propulsion System Engineering Development team.

Responsibilites

· Knowledge of HV DC to DC, AC to DC converters, and HV AC and DC charging devices design.

· Experience developing requirements for Charging Controls / Off board Charging Station Communication.

· Experience and understanding of hardware and software validation testing and requirement at various levels for EV Charging.

· Understand of diagnostics and fault actions for OBCM/EVCC.

· Understand the interaction between OBCM, BMS and EVCC.

· Must be comfortable with hands-on lab work (including the use of scopes/logic analyzers, CAN tools, soldering irons, etc as needed to support integration).

· Working level knowledge of DVP&R and DFMEA.

· Understand of AC and DC charging protocols and regulation standard SAE, ISO, IEC.

· Ability to interface professionally with key customers, cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements/Qualifications (included but not limited to):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
  • 4 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Able to accommodate the time difference between US and other country.

· Work in fast-paced environment

· Be able to push the program move forward to meeting production timeline.

· Positive and it’s on me attitude

Preferred:

· Masters or advanced related to the field from an ABET accredited university

· Entrepreneurial attitude & intellectual curiosity

· EV experience, start-up experience, OEM experience, commercial, and automotive experience is a very helpful

· Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

· Innovative self-starter
