Home Health Aide Job at Daughters of Charity Ministries
The Daughters of Charity is a retirement community for the members of the Daughters of Charity Ministries.
We are currently have a vacant opening for a part-time Certified Home Health Aide to work every other weekend on our evening shift, 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm. We are looking for a caring, committed, compassionate individual who enjoys working with a senior population. Some of our expectations for the successful candidate are:
- assisting with the provision of patient care, complying with established standards of care and following defined procedures
- assisting with the orientation of newly hired home health aides
- working with other staff members to achieve departmental goals and maintain good morale and teamwork.
- able to react positively to change and handle other tasks as assigned
- maintain professional discretion and confidentiality
- participation in/on committees as needed
- be proactive
- provide leadership through example and sharing of knowledge
- must be currently certified as a Home Health Aide
