Hospice Nurse Job at Washington Regional
Registered Nurse (RN) - Willard Walker Hospice Home
Washington Regional Medical Center is our region’s only locally governed, community-owned, not-for-profit healthcare system. Our system includes a 425-bed acute care hospital located in the heart of Fayetteville supported by our clinic system - including primary, specialty and urgent care operations - that span across Northwest Arkansas into Harrison and Eureka Springs. Being heavily supported and invested in our community makes Washington Regional a unique employer, encouraging staff to give back to the community in which we live and work … and give back to each other.
Washington Regional Mission, Vision and Values prove to be a firm foundation and inspiration from which we fulfill our purpose.
Mission: Washington Regional is committed to improving the health of people in communities we serve through compassionate, high quality care, prevention and wellness education.
Vision: To be the leading healthcare system in Northwest Arkansas - the best place to receive care and the best place to give care.
Values: To treat others – patients and their families, visitors, physicians, and each other – as we would want to be treated.
Hospice is care that focuses on the total needs of patients and families as they face the end of life. We seek to deliver the best care possible for a person dealing with a life-limiting disease. We are a compassionate team of experts offering end of life care, comfort, and education for patients and families in Northwest Arkansas. Our aim for the patient and family, no matter what the setting, is for peace. We want to understand the patient's and family’s values and goals. We believe that this difficult time can actually be a time of growth and deeper understanding of life for patients and their families.
Regarded as the oldest hospice in the state, Washington Regional Hospice is the only local program of its kind that is accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation’s leading accrediting agency of healthcare organizations, and is the only hospice in Northwest Arkansas that is affiliated with a locally governed, community-owned, not-for-profit medical system. “Washington Regional Hospice has a long tradition of assisting patients and families during this stage of life,” Medical Director Dr. Bradley says. “Our team is honored to provide support and care for our patients and their families, thus allowing them to fulfill their goals and focus on living life to its fullest.”
