Job Summary- Hospital Recruitment & Contracting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Recruitment and Contracting Manager for our Behavioral Health Network Department. This role will oversee all of the Hospital Recruitment and Contracting Processes for our Managed Care business. You will serve as the main point of contact for all of our contracted facilities provide direction to our Hospital Recruitment and Contracting team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the Hospital Recruitment and Contracting area to maintain an open and positive work environment through clear understanding of roles, expectations, and goal targets
• Manage and direct hospital and substance abuse facilities recruitment and contracting for potential and/or new accounts, sales and account management requests, and clinical requests
• Complete file updates including recredentialing and the addition/removal of services and/or locations, review and implement rate increases
• Work closely with ComPsych's clinical team to ensure a successful experience for the client
• Monitor cost containment through rate negotiations
• Provide oversight on completion of single case agreements
• Assist in resolution of contract and claims issues
• Develop, implement and monitor performance indicators for facility contracting team utilizing data and communicating regularly about real-time performance
• Review internal controls to ensure proper quality measures are followed and productivity metrics are met.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operating efficiency
• Maintain a positive work environment that supports high performing teams

Job Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in behavioral health hospital recruitment, credentialing, contracting and relationship management
• 7+ years of business experience in the healthcare field
• Management experience an asset
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Microsoft Office experience required
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus
