Willow Valley is hiring a Host/Hostess to Welcome Residents and guests to the dining room. Coordinates seating of diners and monitors the activities of servers to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures prompt courteous service for Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards.
- Escorts Residents and guests to their table, provides menus, gives specials and pours ice water.
- Monitors adherence to the dress code for Residents and guests.
- Responsible for the set-up and monitoring of special functions, in addition to the normal daily operations.
- Prepares Daily Meal Served Report and other reports as assigned.
- Posts daily menus, copies and enlarges as directed
- Assists with clearing and resetting tables at the conclusion of the meal for the next group of diners or next meal period. Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of the servers and bus persons.
- Inspects dining rooms and serving stations for neatness and cleanliness. Requisition table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
- Maintains a smooth flow of dining room functions to ensure Willow Valley standards are met.
- Follows Willow Valley’s HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hours:
- Part-Time, 2-3 days/week
Schedule:
- 4:15pm-8:00pm
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- 11:15am-3:00pm

- Starting at $13.50hr
