The Households of Bethany includes a team that works continually to create home, community, and family. We are looking to fill housekeeping positions with individuals who are motivated, efficient and team orientated.

We offer flexible work hours!! You can work between 7 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday, and every other weekend.

Purpose: Completes assigned housekeeping services as assigned both in common spaces and in resident rooms, following established schedules and policies/procedures. This may include, but is not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bathroom cleaning, changing linens, making beds, picking up trash, and keeping the residents’ living areas as well as common living areas attractive and welcoming. Ensures the timely and appropriate cleaning, clearing, and preparing a room before an admission or after a resident discharges.
Essential Functions:
 Keep facility and common areas clean and maintained
 Keep resident rooms and resident care areas clean and maintained.
 Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
 Clean and stock restrooms with proper chemicals provided
 Ability to read and recognize what chemicals are used for different situations
 Ability to run housekeeping equipment
 Clean up spills in a timely manner with appropriate equipment
 Collect and dispose of trash
 Properly clean upholstered furniture
 Ability to manage time efficiently
 Ability to work well unsupervised
 Assist resident or guests when necessary
 Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with resident and other staff members.
 Provides excellent customer service to residents, staff and visitors
 Ability to run and operate all of Bethany’s floor care equipment confidently, knowing what
chemicals to use on what floor in what scenarios
 Ability to fill out and maintain a daily/weekly audit form and turn in, in a timely manner to their supervisor weekend.
