ATCO Frontec is seeking a Housekeeper Lead to join our Camp Services team near Delta Junction, AK working on rotation. The Housekeeper Lead is responsible for ensuring the highest sanitation standards are upheld throughout the Camp.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and maintains the highest sanitary standards are maintained in all areas of responsibility in accordance with company, client, and governmental requirements.
• Deals with problems quickly and efficiently
• Calculate and distribute all department employees workloads
• Communicate effectively to Front Office team on room status availability.
• Conduct room and facility audit inspections daily
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and crew change as required to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained
• Trains and directs all department workers, ensuring the service with company and client safety requirements.
• Ability to clean rooms to company standard and adhere to room inspection requirements
• Wash, sorts, counts, folds and distributes linens and towels, makes beds to company standard.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mop, and polishes floor.
• Vacuum/cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and pick up debris and empties trash containers
• Assists in laundry as needed
• Actively involved in ensuring they are following safe and sound procedures and are adhering to government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health and Safety, policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

• 2-3 years in supervisory position in Housekeeping or other related fields
• Preferred housekeeping experience in large hotel/resort style.
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently unsupervised
• Team Player
