SUMMARY:
- We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team of room attendants and ensure we provide excellent guest service.
- Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members, and checking private and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.
- The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the standards of cleanliness are met. They assign tasks, inspect work to ensure it's up to standard, and provide training on how to best handle guest requests. They maintain their inventory list in case anything needs replacing and order more supplies when needed most.
- Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A High School diploma is required, and a minimum of twelve months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Display friendliness and helpfulness at all times to Members, Guests, Visitors, Business Partners, and fellow Associates.
- Adhere to all Property and Department policies and procedures.
- Observe all safety and security procedures. Use equipment and material properly. Report potentially unsafe conditions
- Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Oversee staff daily
- Prepare & Assign Dailey Room Assignments for Housekeeping Team
- Clean, Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness.
- Schedule shifts with the Clubhouse Manager and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
- Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards
- Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
- Respond to guest complaints and special requests
- Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock, including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves – Supply Orders Weekly with the Clubhouse Manager
- Participate in large cleaning projects as required
- Communicate Dailey with Clubhouse Manager & Laundry Team
- Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.. Regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and lift and/or push up to 25 pounds. Ability to climb up and downstairs inside buildings and outside buildings.
