To further our mission we are looking for a Housing Stabilization Center Coordinator.

Position Overview:

ACTION-Housing is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate person to continue to grow the Housing Stabilization Center (HSC) in Downtown Pittsburgh as a drop-in site that serves Allegheny County households in need of household stabilization services. The Housing Stabilization Center Coordinator will run the downtown “drop-in space” and coordinate numerous organizations' utilization of the space daily. The ideal HSC Coordinator will have a passion for housing equity and stabilization, and an optimistic, collaborative approach toward improving and enhancing the quality and types of services available in the space.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Housing Stabilization Center
  • Work with the public in navigating a wide variety of housing stabilization resources
  • Expand the network of collaborations with outside organizations to provide a broad spectrum of services and supports
  • Meet regularly with the Housing Assistance Program Manager to effectively communicate issues within the space and problem-solve ways to address any concerns.
  • Serve as a liaison between all HSC team members and ACTION-Housing management to address any issues in a rapid manner
  • Have excellent Executive Decision making skills and be able to work independently.
  • Coordinate staffing for the space with a variety of resources, including affiliate organizations who work in the space
  • Organize resources in the space and oversee the management of the space
  • Other related duties as assigned.
