A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HR BENEFITS COODINATOR

As a HR Benefits Coordinator, you will work under the supervision of the HR Director, the Benefits Coordinator is directly responsible for all aspects of employee's benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plan, and any voluntary benefits offered to employee. The Benefits Coordinator is also responsible for Worker's Compensation and aiding supervisors and managers regarding their roles. The HR Benefits Coordinator assists with all HR functions of the Charles Lea Center to ensure timely service is provided to employees and contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Associate degree in HR related or related field and minimum of 5 years' experience in HR or related field or Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and minimum of 2 years' experience in HR or related field
  • Have training and knowledge of benefits and employment law regarding benefits ; ability to create processes and implement systems
  • Travel for training and to other CLC locations required
  • Ability to pass a background check upon hire
  • Valid driver's license
