$40 - $45 an hour

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure fair and consistent administration of all human resources policies and practices
  • Administration and implementation of communications programs to increase employee engagement and morale

Supports positive employee morale through strong employee engagement

  • Leads/supports positive employee relations/engagement initiatives by supporting facility, corporate, and community relations activities (Employee service awards, Engagement Surveys, Danone Day, Family Day, etc.)
  • Provide training and development to managers and supervisors on policy, practices, and leadership skills
  • Assists in developing and implementing local policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Corporate Ethics and Compliance procedures
  • Assists in the delivery and administration of training programs to develop associate capabilities
  • Supports plant continuous improvement initiatives
  • Responsible for compliance with appropriate records and reports
  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting including new hire onboarding processes
  • Partners with Employee Shared Services on various activities including: Hires, Transfers, Promotions, Separations,

Retirements, Disability, FMLA, etc.

  • Conducts employee relations counselling and exit interviews
  • Partners with facility leadership to ensure performance standards are being consistently upheld, through the Performance

· Management Process, for both hourly and salary groups

  • Maintains accurate records within Human Resources system and compile reports from database
  • Ensures that all HR administrative functions are handled in an accurate and timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills with focus on incorporating opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include excellent oral & written communication and follow-up skills
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability handle fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
  • Knowledge of compensation principles and practices
  • Strong business acumen with skills in influencing and persuasion
  • Strong interpersonal skills associated with developing trusting relationships
  • Strong investigation and conflict resolution skills
  • Must be able to adjust schedule to meet the demands of the facility

Required Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field

· 5+ years of experience in human resources performing as a generalist, ideally in a 24/7 manufacturing environment

· Knowledge of Federal and State laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.), practices and procedures

Computer Skills:

  • High level of comfort in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), time keeping systems, and HRIS

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
