HR Recruiting Assistant (Full Time, Hybrid) Job at Thundermist Health Center

General Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of duties to assist the HR Director and support the Human Resources (HR) Department. Work collaboratively with Managers assisting with the planning, developing, and administration of recruiting activities. Establish and maintain positive relationships with candidate resources including institutions of higher education, RI Department of Labor, etc. Maintain posting and candidate information within HRIS database. Work with Managers to onboard students rotating within the health center.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
Advanced degree equivalent to 2 years of college, Business College or an Associate degree OR High school diploma and 4 years prior office/administrative experience in a busy setting, preferably in Human Resources.
Excellent interpersonal skills required to deal with all levels of staff, as well as external agencies and individuals.
Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
Competency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce software or other HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in recruiting
Candidates who do not meet all of the preferred qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Maintain employee recruitment database
Manage internal and external posting process according to agency policy
Manage candidates within requisition
Short list qualified candidates
Decline candidates as necessary
Maintain talent community with qualified candidates
Inactivate postings upon position fulfillment
Pre-screen candidates for basic qualifications
Perform initial virtual interviews
Send qualified candidates to hiring manager and follow up to ensure the timely completion of the selection process
Complete reference checks
Onboard students/interns according to agency policy
Physical Effort/ Environment:
This is a hybrid but local (MA/RI/CT) position, allowing duties to be performed from home or at a Thundermist site.
General office environment. The position requires extensive computer use.
Work Schedule Demands:
Full-time position; 40 hours per week. Workload may occasionally require working more than 40 hours
Communication Skills:
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and in small groups to staff, supervisors, and the public.
