POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a HRIS System Administrator to join our HR team in Reamstown! This position is responsible for providing general human resources support to the dormakaba population, working cross-functionally, with all levels, throughout the organization, to ensure data and process consistency within its record keeping systems so that data can be utilized for informed business decisions.


PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS systems, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions
  • Configures HRIS systems to meet current and future state business needs
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports
  • Compiles or assists with the creation and disbursement of data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives, HR staff, and compliance requirements
  • Serves as liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design, vendor connections and implementation projects
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
  • Utilizes continuous improvement to refine processes, workflows, and SOP’s related to HRIS and HR Ops
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 -7 years’ previous experience with data analysis
  • 2-5 years’ experience with ADP and/or SAP systems preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, human resources, or other relevant area of expertise

  • Understands business needs from multiple points of view and makes suggestions that address current issues while also maintaining a long-term solution
  • Ability to learn and utilize new technological tools quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to relate complex concepts in a concise and easy to understand manner
  • Must be able to manage change successfully
  • Ability to understand and comply with confidentiality and privacy rules and protect company property and confidential information
