Human Resource Manager Job at American Plastics, LLC
Description:
- Recruitment for direct labor positions
- Conduct interviews, process background checks, employment authorizations and conduct new hire orientation
- Process weekly timekeeping and maintain attendance calendars
- Research and investigate employee issues or concerns, consults with management, and coordinate necessary action to bring appropriate resolution
- Review disciplinary action and termination documents, taking appropriate partners as necessary
- Maintain active and terminated personnel files
- Assist in Bureau of Workers Compensation Cases
- Provide support between employee and operations to approve weekly timesheets
- Coordinate and distribute reporting on labor and hiring to Management
- Other duties as assigned by Management
- 2-3 years’ experience as a recruiter or Human Resources Manager role
- A bachelor’s degree is a plus, but equivalent and relevant work experience will substitute
- Excellent oral & written communications skills
- Fully computer literate including MS Office Suite, Excel PowerPoint, and the ability to learn Paylocity within the first 30 days
- Professional attitude & demeanor with Management and employees
- Resourceful with ability to apply critical problem-solving skills
- Extremely detailed & organized
