Human Resources Business Partner Job at Conexus

We are partnering with a client in financial services that is seeking an up and coming HRBP to join their growing HR team. Ideally candidates with come with strong backgrounds in employee relations, performance management, talent management, workforce planning, and coaching.

Essential Functions

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve company culture and employee engagement.
  • Manage employee relations and conduct investigations of employee complaints and alleged policy violations, escalating where necessary.
  • Coach and develop managers in all areas of people leadership, including performance management and talent development.
  • Lead HR related projects and deployments and provide change management leadership where needed.
  • Work in partnership with managers in administering the performance review process.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team for hiring needs.
  • Manage/support the employee onboarding and offboarding processes where appropriate.
  • Ensure upkeep and maintenance of HRIS records and compile reports from database.
  • May participate in Union grievance process and engages in labor relations under the supervision of Sr. HR leaders.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
  • 5-7 years’ experience in broad based HR with working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including, performance management, employee/union relations, workforce planning, talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion and employment laws.
  • Strong background in employee relations, including investigation of complex issues required
  • Strong understanding of state and federal labor law and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
