POSITION PURPOSE

The Regional Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing first line HR support and guidance to employees including but not limited to: policy, training, systems and performance management. The Regional Human Resources Coordinator ensures all queries are resolved efficiently, within agreed SLA’s and are recorded accurately for reporting purposes. The role is responsible for ensuring all employee data is accurately recorded and maintained in Aesop’s HRIS, Workday, and drives efficiency and consistency within the day-to-day operations of the People Services/HR function.

CORE RESPONSIBLITIES

• End to end responsibility for administering all HR related data including processing new starters, leavers, employee changes, leave of absence, employee status regarding work rights where applicable and other ad hoc requests using Workday
• Acts as the first point of contact for all employee queries through HR Helpdesk
• Provides first level HR advice across all areas of the employee lifecycle including; performance, development, terminations, grievances for Retail employees
• Manage employee and manager inquiries by researching, gathering support information and soliciting input from HR Advisors to resolve issues as needed
• Support HR cyclical events: Performance/ remuneration reviews, development conversations, employee benefit reviews (including insurance policy renewal)
• Stay informed of key HR issues / events and policy changes that may impact inquiries and communicate information back to relevant parties
• Support recruitment as it relates to initiating requisitions
• Support HR team as required with employee lifecycle events

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an HR or administrative field
• Preferred industry experience – Retail, Customer Service or Hospitality
• Must have experience with an HRIS & ATS system. Experience in Workday and ZenDesk is a plus
• Meets complex queries with professionalism as well as thorough and accurate information
• Approaches problems with creativity; meets all problems with proposed solutions before escalating
• Has a passion for learning risk assessment, retail specific legislation and HR policy and process
• Exceptionally organized, deadline driven and maintains a high level of personal expectations of work quality
• Recruitment experience preferred

The annual base salary range for this position $60,000 – $66,000, plus company benefits, bonus and annual merit review eligibility. Actual salaries will be based off years of experience, skills, competencies qualifications.
