POSITION SUMMARY:
This position offers support in several areas of the Human Resource Department, while providing a high-level of professional HR and customer service for employees of the bank in all HR-related areas. Perform a variety of human resources administration functions including, employment proposals, assisting recruitment, serving as contact for employees undergoing change and providing back up support for benefits.

DUTIES:
  • Support the Recruitment, Interviewing, Selection and Hiring process by learning all the capabilities of the application system and preparation of Employment Proposal package
  • Attend recruitment functions as appropriate
  • Serve as go-to person for new hires during orientation and beyond
  • Support the performance evaluation process
  • Assist with employee documentation filing and retention
  • Provide limited support for benefits processing and administration
  • Support all HR Department staff with any ways social media can benefit the department (for example: using social media for recruitment, recognition, internal communications, etc.)
  • Create and publish monthly employee newsletter
  • Assist specifically in development and delivery of employee communications/relations – through selection, onboarding, and orientation of the bank's workforce
  • Other duties as assigned
RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Responsible to Chief Human Resource Officer for the fulfillment of duties assigned
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and 1-2 years of HR experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions with employees, while being proficient with interpersonal relations and communicative skills
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, have a working knowledge of Office (Word & Excel)
  • Self-starter, ability to prioritize tasks, strong interpersonal skills, willingness to have a flexible schedule
  • Demonstrates bank's values and promotes organizational culture
  • Continued research, education and training are essential
