A well known Kansas City company that has experienced a lot of growth recently is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to add to their team and provide support in all areas including recruitment & hiring, benefits administration, and employee training.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist :
- Responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Work with department managers to understand what they are looking for in a candidate
- Post jobs using databases, professional networks, social media, etc.
- Administer reference checks, pre-employment tests and background checks
- Benefit Administration
- Review, track and document compliance with training, continuing education and work assessments
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
- Create and maintain employment records and files
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
