The HR Manager for the Northeast division will partner with the business unit president and leadership to strategize and support the overall effectiveness of the business.

HR Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR processes such as organizational development, performance management, talent acquisition, career development, compensation, and positive employee relations.
  • Trusted Advisor - Proactively engage in coaching and counseling conversations with managers and employees. Counsel and/or coach employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution.
  • Driving HR Initiatives – Support Corporate HR leadership in the development and deployment of HR functional process improvements across all divisional and functional lines.
  • Talent Acquisition – Partner with the business unit team to plan and staff key open positions. Manage new employee on-boarding process. Support the establishment of a coordinated college recruitment candidate program/channel.
  • Talent Development – Work with managers to develop individual development plans / career pathing; assist with development and deployment of entry-level and mid-career pipeline development programs; partner with the functional leadership to continuously evaluate, develop and upgrade the organization as identified in annual talent management process.
  • Compensation & Organization Effectiveness - Drive annual non-executive compensation and talent management planning; partner with Compensation to conduct benchmarking as required.
  • Culture Champion - Provide leadership in, and promotion of, a positive company culture by being an advocate for employees while achieving a balance with company goals.
  • Potential M&A - Assist in acquisitions - due diligence and effective integration.

HR Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Human Resources or a business-related field required.
  • 7+ years progressive human resources experience.
  • Construction, Energy or Engineering related industry a plus.
