Grace Maintenance MEP Service is currently accepting applications for experienced HVAC Technician/Installer. you are a key member of our team, responsible for the quality and efficient installation, service and maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems. You will also develop new customers by identifying opportunities to sell additional work. Exemplifying our code of values by showing respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. Ideally you have prior experience in the HVAC industry and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.

You are expected to be a detail-oriented team player, will have an analytical mind, great organizational skills with exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities. You will handle all the resources and coordination from a technical standpoint. You must set and achieve objectives, ensure both top quality and control of each installation, service and or maintenance. This position is located in Powder Springs, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the all job processes are followed in accordance with company's policies and code
  • Maintains adherence to company's standards of safety
  • Commercial and/or Residential HVAC Installation, maintenance, repair of refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems
  • Complete Install, Hanging and Insulating Duct, Running Lines, etc.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely fashion and demonstrate a courteous, and professional attitude dealing with residents.
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults. Clean, adjust and repair systems. Perform warranty services.
  • Perform consultations with customers. Determine customer needs and discuss all solution methods
  • Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
  • Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
  • Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues
  • Repair damaged HVAC systems
  • Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to current customers
  • Keep records of customer appointments and payment transactions including invoices
  • Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
  • Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
  • Ensures timely completion of closeout process
  • Work well with customers, presenting final proposals in a professional manner
  • Performing all duties as directed by the department manager
  • Ensure optimal customer service, efficient use of time, and meeting departmental strategic and budgetary goals

Qualifications

  • Qualifications and Skills needed to be successful in this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Certification or associate degree from an HVAC Program or Technical School
  • Minimum Three(3) or more years of experience in maintenance, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and correcting HVAC systems.
  • Valid State Driver’s License & clean driving record required and able to travel to multiple sites
  • Desire to learn and grow career experience in the HVAC industry
  • EPA, NATE or CFC Certification
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand
  • Skill and ability in promoting and selling products and services on the phone and face to face
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Extensive knowledge of air duct distribution systems in commercial, industrial and Residential units
  • Must have OSHA 30
  • Ability to comprehend and implement applicable HVAC related federal, state, and local governmental laws, codes, and regulations
  • The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind, great organizational skills with exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities
  • Must be able to clear pre-hire background check
  • Must have your own equipment, tools, reliable transportation and be on-time
