HVAC-R Technician Job at Lincoln Surgical Hospital
We are looking for an HVAC-R Technician to join our team to provide support to multiple entities including Lincoln Surgical Hospital, Eye Surgical Associates, Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics and Nebraska Surgery Center.
The HVAC-R Technician is responsible for maintaining Heating/Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration Systems; identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems; providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment; and ensuring that adequate materials are available to complete all Preventive and Restorative Maintenance assignments, in a timely manner.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, from 5:00 am - 1:30 pm.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Diagnoses malfunctions of heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems.
- Ensures routine maintenance is performed on all mechanical systems and building components in accordance with manufactures guidelines, if applicable.
- Operates and maintains HVAC and Mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, O&M’s and design specifications.
- Performs routine general maintenance and repairs in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical Systems.
- Cleans and repairs Air Handling Units, Valves, Dampers, Heat Exchangers, Closed Systems, Boilers, Chillers, Thermostats, Variable Air Volume Systems, as well as any other combination of heating/cooling units and associated equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- HVAC-R certification and facilities maintenance and/or project management experience.
- Valid state driver’s license required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
