Bill Howe is currently hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians. We are looking for hard-working, dedicated HVAC Technicians to join our growing staff. The individual in this role will be responsible for inspecting, and fixing our customers' heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Candidates should have extensive experience handling, and fixing HVAC equipment, and be comfortable working with little to no supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and perform HVAC equipment repairs.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Respond to emergency service requests (rotating on-call schedule)
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HVAC required (3 years minimum)
- EPA certification Type 2 or universal required
- Clean DMV record and current driver's license
- Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.

- Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.
Physical Requirements:
- This role routinely uses construction equipment and hand & power tools.
- While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs and ladders.
- Required to enter attics and crawlspaces
Environmental Conditions:
- Travel to a variety of worksites every day thru-out San Diego County.
- Work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness.
- May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust.
- May be required to work in confined spaces.
